“Pattern Shape Element” - An expression in mixed media
Solo Show with Julie Havel
September 8 - October 13, 2023

Julie Havel creates an array of texture and depth with her organic contemporary abstract paintings. Her use of composition through cut and torn elements gives movement and shape in both her monochromatic and vibrantly colored work that will be on display for this mixed media show. A self-taught local artist, she continuously approaches her work from an experimental and fearless angle.

"Mettle" - Strength of Form in Line and Motion
Dual Sculpture Exhibition with John Henley and Peggy Feliot
September 8 - October 28, 2023

John Henley and Peggy Feliot will showcase dynamic sculpture works that differ in style yet reflect a shared vigor and strength of form. Henley’s modern, refined works from his fluid “Waveform” Series and Bell/Wind Series, will play in concert with Feliot’s powerful abstract assemblage art created from found objects.

Henley is an accomplished sculptor based in Granby, CO, where he maintains a studio and sculpture garden along with a fabrication and design facility.
This is his first exhibition in Denver outside of public works and commissions in over 15 years. Feliot is a celebrated abstract painter who carries her painting talent over to her sculpture work that is inspired by cubism and the great metal sculptor John Chamberlain (1927-2011).
